Bio

Dr. KAM Ho Chuen, Calvin is affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He earned his Ph.D. from CUHK, specializing in computer vision and human understanding. He also holds a B.Sc. with First Class Honors in Computer Science from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).


Prior to his current role at CUHK, Dr. Kam served as a Data Scientist and STEM instructor at Blueinno Technology. His commitment to education is evident in his passion for teaching STEM subjects to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. He actively engages in public service to advance STEM and AI education through partnerships with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).


Dr. Kam's research interests include Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Healthcare, Sensor Fusion, and Educational Technology (EduTech). He has collaborated with NVIDIA and mentored students on various research projects. Additionally, he has practical experience developing AI and Computer Vision applications for the healthcare sector.
